Architects who build software.
Software for architecture studios, from products like BEAM, Rhino Sync and Nessie to custom plugins and web apps built for your practice.
Hardened to production standards. Secure by design.
Who we are.
MKS DTECH is a design technology studio led by two architects with backgrounds in BIM, computational design and complex project delivery. Having worked inside architecture and engineering teams, we build the software and tools those teams rely on.

Mikael Santrolli
Mikael began his career at Zaha Hadid Architects and Foster + Partners, working across BIM, computational design and complex project delivery. Over time, his focus moved from using digital tools to building them.
At MKS DTECH, Mikael works on the software systems, product logic and technical workflows behind tools such as BEAM, Rhino Sync and Nessie. His work sits at the intersection of architecture, BIM data and software development.

Mauro Sabiu
Mauro worked at Perkins+Will and Zaha Hadid Architects, where he was exposed to the complexity of BIM delivery, advanced modelling and coordination across large architectural projects.
At MKS DTECH, Mauro focuses on product direction, project workflows and the connection between design teams, BIM processes and software development. His work is centred on building tools that make technical project processes clearer and easier to manage.
Built from inside architectural practice.
MKS DTECH was founded from direct experience inside architecture and BIM teams. We understand the pressure of complex geometry, project standards, model coordination, data management and delivery workflows because we have worked inside those environments ourselves.
Today, we use that experience to build tools and systems that fit the way architecture teams actually work.
A technical network around each project.
MKS DTECH works with a network of software developers, architects, computational designers, BIM specialists and cloud/data experts. Depending on the project, we bring together the right combination of skills: Revit API, Rhino, Grasshopper, IFC, BIM standards, dashboards, cloud infrastructure, QA workflows and project delivery support.
Work with people who understand both architecture and software.
If your team is building internal tools, project data systems, BIM workflows or custom software for project delivery, we'd like to hear about it.
