When you start a collaboration session, synchronize or reload, RHINO SYNC sends your Rhino Sync user name, your computer name, the region set on your computer, the Rhino Sync and Rhino® versions, the action and how long it took, the size of the central file and the collaboration session identifier. User names and computer names are pseudonymised when MKS DTECH receives them and are not stored in readable form. These statistics are kept in pseudonymised form for 24 months. After that, user names, computer names and session identifiers are removed and only anonymous statistics are kept.
When you start a collaboration session, synchronize or reload, RHINO SYNC does not store your .3dm files or their data on MKS DTECH servers. Your files are transferred only between your computer and your network drive, Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox.
Live previews are optional and turned off by default. When you turn on Broadcast live previews, preview shapes of the objects you edit are sent through MKS DTECH servers to the other users in your collaboration session. Small previews are passed on directly and are not stored. Larger previews are held in temporary storage only while they are delivered and are deleted automatically after use.
